Sandilands Legal was created because of a desire to provide legal services  differently – for both our clients and our consultants and with the best interests of both at the heart of what we do.

We provide clear, practical advice that is delivered when you need it and how you need it. Clients get really experienced lawyers at a reasonable cost and get help when and how they need it. All our consultants are senior in-house lawyers and are used to parachuting in and dealing with stakeholders at all levels. They immediately embed with your organisation and your team.

It is a quick, simple on-boarding process meaning that you can access the support you need fast.

Yes. Our consultants are experienced in-house lawyers who are used to working on an agile basis we can help for as long or as shorter time as you need us.

It depends what it is but yes! Our consultants are generalists who are used to working on a wide range of areas but we have consultants who are specialists in employment, IT/IP, disputes, commercial, energy and utilities, compliance, corporate who can help with specific matters.

 

Yes. All of our consultants have commercial expertise and can help with contract reviews, risk rating and negotiation or we can draft bespoke contracts if and as required. We can also help review and produce precedent documents to be used in the future by your organisation.

 

We offer a range of different fee structures:

Day rates - for an agreed number of days per week/ month our rates vary depending on the length of time you need us for.

Hourly rate work - for one-off projects or pieces of work.

Our rates are really competitive because we work largely virtually and keep our overheads low. You pay much less for the level of experience of our lawyers than a traditional law firm offering.

 

Yes. All of our consultants are qualified lawyers who are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. They all have a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience and have spent at least 2 years in-house.

Yes. Our work and that of our consultants is insured. We have PI insurance up to £2 million.

We will arrange regular catch ups with you to make sure you are getting what you need. We need you to tell us what is or isn’t working so that we can work together and build a lasting working relationship. Also, telling us up front what works for you (eg. specific information for billing/ matters) allows us to give you the best possible, efficient service.
