A word from our Founder
I set up Sandilands Legal in 2022 because I loved being an in-house lawyer but I wanted to deliver legal services differently: to help more clients and enable more lawyers to work flexibly and on their terms.
I know that I want to help more clients and partnering with Sam has helped that. As co-founders we have been able to play to our individual strengths for the combined good of the business. We thrive on what we do. Our clients and consultants love our approach of offering trusted, experienced lawyers on a flexible basis as it is a win-win for both.
It is important for us to know that we can make a real difference to our clients. Often the teams we help can be having a tough time either because they are overstretched and under resourced or don’t have the specialist knowledge needed to navigate a particular issue, being able to provide a senior lawyer to help is rewarding. We deliberately keep our processes simple so that we can act fast.
Our approach is to be pragmatic and efficient. We want to help steady the ship and solve the tricky legal or resource problems.
Our Interim GCs often support more junior teams within an organisation – where the team needs some direction and confidence that they are doing the right thing. Being pointed in the right direction provides a huge morale boost to the teams and sets them up for success. We love being part of this: making things run more smoothly and solving problems.
